Updated 2D Game Design Section

We all (well some of us anyway) remember the good old days of classic arcade games, when relatively simple games provided us with hours of fun. These games made way for newer, more advanced games with better graphics and more complex technological game elements. The wheel has now turned full circle however and the latest technologies such as the iPad, iPhone and Android Phones are now mainly populated with easy to play 2D games. 

This renaissance in 2D gaming is partly due to the sentimental memories of early gamers joyously reliving their youth on their new gadgets. In reality though it is mainly a decision by developers that to meet the demands of the consumers for quick, easy to play, fun games that they can pass 5 or 10 minutes with on the bus or train to work that 2d games are the ideal format.

Create a Sports Themed Poster

In the latest tutorial from onlinedesignteacher we will be creating our own sports silhouettes to create a sports themed poster for your event. The sample poster will portray a series of sporting actions to advertise an upcoming local sports day. Use the poster for your own club, company or business event or edit the template to suit another event. Table Quiz Poster

In the latest tutorial from onlinedesignteacher we will be using mainly the text and shape tool to create a poster for a table quiz. The poster itself will portray a group of 4 people at a table with paper sheets in front of them, and thus simply representing a table quiz. Use the poster for your own club, company or business quiz or edit the theme to suit another event type.
